WHO WE ARE

Three Fountains has been a supplier of choice for quality pre-packed fresh salads, herbs, fruit and vegetables in the Cape Metro for over 15 years, catering for the specific and varied needs of our customers the retail, wholesale and hospitality sectors.

OUR HISTORY

We began as lettuce and herb growers on the historic Three Fountains farm on the Cape West Coast in the late 90's. In 2001, we built a packing facility on the farm and started supplying our own produce to the hospitality trade. In 2003, we were appointed to pack salads, vegetables and herbs for the Spar Group. Since then, we have grown steadily, necessitating a move to a larger, purpose-built processing facility in 2011.

Many of our staff who started out as pickers on the farm are still with us in various positions within the pack house and sales office.

We source most of our produce from local growers around the Peninsula, most of whom we have longstanding relationships and who grow to our requirements using modern, sustainable farming practices. For produce not grown in the Western Cape, we source from the Cape Town Market.

HOW WE GO ABOUT OUR BUSINESS

We are driven by the following values, principles and practices:

Quality and Sustainability:  In how we grow, source, process and distribute our produce

Honesty and Integrity: In our interactions with our suppliers, staff and customers

Reliability: In ensuring a consistent supply of seasonal produce for our customers
